The equipment is a simple plug and play turntable with software for removing pops and clicks from a vinyl record. It basically “cleans” a vinyl record for a clearer and brighter sound.

This model has an adjustable anti-shake control for stereo balancing. It can play 33 1/3, 45 rmp vinyls and 78 rmp vinyls through software. It has an adjustable pitch control at +/- 10% and EZ converter software for ripping vinyls directly to iTunes.

The Numark TTX turntable was designed and manufactured exclusively for DJ. It has a silicon rubber base for sound and vibration absorption and feedback dampening. It has an interchangeable S and straight tonearm for ease in DJ gigs.

The torque's strength is variable at 2.5kg•cm, 3.7 kg•cm, 4.7 kg•cm direct-drive motor according to the user's needs. This unit can play 33 1/3, 45 and 78 rpms and the capacity to convert vinyl records to digital files. Direct recording using a USB is possible. Pitch range is wide at +/- 8, 10, 20 and 50%.

Expert reviews find this model is an almost perfect model. The glitches in the earlier model have been corrected - overheating of the unit. However, the platter has the tendency not to stop on spot when you hit the stop button. It has a 9/10 rating from experts and 3.8/5 rating from consumers. The price is from $330 and up.

Numark TT1650 Direct Drive Turntable

The Numark TT1650 is a great direct-drive turntable for those who like to spin and/or listen to vinyl records. It is a portable-enough turntables for gigging and is quite durable to be set up as a high fidelity sound system.

This Numark turntable is quite precise in its start/stop switch. It has a standard size (7 1/2" x 5 1/4" x H: 51 1/4") to fit a DJ's cockpit making it more ideal as a gigging turntable. The swivel-style tonearm is durable and fitted with a replaceable stylus.

The cartridge that comes with the turntable produces a quality sound but should be dust-free to avoid skips when playing. Its anti-shake adjustments and feedback-resistant silicon base is desirable especially when playing in a DJ booth or table.

This Numark turntable model is bump-resistant! The platter is capable to play 12” records with speeds of 33 1/3 and 45 rpm. This unit has an average consumer rating of 4.5/5. Pegged at $270, is a good value for the money.

Numark TT200 turntable is a lower-end version of the famed TTX line of turntables. It features a direct-drive torque motor with a capacity of 1.7kg/cm. The aesthetics and construction of the unit closely resemble the TTX too with its silicon-vibration-absorbing bottom and steel top.

The TT200 is heavy, stable and durable. It can accommodate straight and S-shaped tonearms with a +/- 10% pitch control and therefore is an affordable unit for DJs. It can play at three speeds (33 1/3, 45 and 78 rpm), has a detachable RCA and power cords and a reverse button for gigging. The TT200 has a consumer rating of 4.5/5 from more than 100 users. The price is from $190.

Numark PT01 Portable DJ Turntable

The Numark PT01 is an entry-level compact turntable. Its belt-driven motor has three speeds and can run on an AC adapter or 6 D-size batteries. It is fitted with an automatic start/stop tonearm and is equipped to a +/- 10% pitch control.
